Dr. Jim Collier
Senior Pastor
 
Jim is a Florida native and spent 12 years serving our country in the US Army, attaining the rank of Captain before entering seminary to become a Pastor. He attended Mid America Baptist Seminary getting his M.Div and Doctorate. He has served in Mississippi, Tennessee and now in North Carolina where his wife Myra is from. Jim and Myra have been married almost 30 years and have 2 adult children.
 
 
 

Aaron Edwards
Associate Pastor to Youth and Families
 
Aaron grew up in Mount Pleasant, NC. He is a graduate of Lee University (May 12′) Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Jan 21′) and Master of Arts in Christian Ministries (Jan 22′). He is currently in the Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) program Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has been serving the Youth of FBC Concord since August of 2013. He and his wife Amanda were married in 2012 and reside in Kannapolis. 
 
 
 
Luke Waters
Worship Pastor
 

Luke is our newest staff member. Born in Advance NC, but raised in Concord, he is the son of a local pastor. Luke is a proud graduate of Northwest High, North Greenville University (undergrad), and Southwestern Theological Seminary (MDiv). He has a talent and passion for music and using it to praise the Lord. Luke is newly married to Katherine and they make their home in Salisbury. We’re excited to have him on board!

 
 
 
Korighan Gabriel
Children’s Ministry Director
 
Korighan is a lifelong resident of Concord and a lifetime member of FBC Concord. She started teaching in AWANA while in high-school and moved to teaching in the Children’s Ministry under our former children’s director. Being called to shepherd children’s hearts was a natural path for Korighan. Before being called to FBC Concord she was a full time Nanny, taught at a local preschool and continues to teach dance at Cabarrus Dance Academy.

 

 
 

Angela Simpson
Membership Secretary
 
Angela joined the FBC Concord staff in September of 2021. She comes from a education background and has been in administration for 3 years. She is from Salisbury and lives in Kannapolis with Scott, her husband of 7 years. They have one son who is also in ministry. Angela and Scott love to travel but love the gulf shore beaches most of all. With her background, Angela brings a unique perspective and valuable skills to FBC. Her dedication to service make her an exceptional member of our staff. 
 
 
Jacqulyn Campbell
ABC Preschool Director
 
Jacqulyn became the Director of All Because of Christ Preschool in August 2017. She graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development and Biology and has taught preschool for 11 years. Jacqulyn was born and raised here in Concord, NC where she lives with her husband, Timothy and 2 young children, Bristol and Tucker. In her spare time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, crafting and spending time with her family.
 
 
Cindy Key
Financial Secretary
 
Cindy has been in church finance for many years. She does work all over Cabarrus and Rowan county for area churches. She is a life long resident of Salisbury and resides there with her husband Eddie. They have 2 daughters and her favorite pastime is spending time with family.
 
 
 
 
Eugene Wensil
Maintenance Supervisor 
 
As a native of Cabarrus County and a proud graduate of Concord High School, Eugene has deep roots in our community. He has honed his craft over many years in construction and plumbing. He and his wife Cindy have 5 adult children. Eugene loves working with the Boy Scouts and fishing. We are thrilled to have Eugene as a valued member of our team and an FBC member.
